The plan identifies relevant equipment and installation checks, who performs them and which records are required. Water, power and other necessary site connections must be available for the applicable activities. Work requiring local authorisation is assigned to the appropriate local party rather than assumed within a manufacturer visit.

A structured inspection records the item, location, responsible party and agreed action. In apartments, individual-unit observations are distinguished from shared-area or central-system issues. The acceptance process follows the contract, including how remaining items are tracked and what information the customer receives about completion.

The agreed file can include current drawings, equipment schedules, test records, manuals, maintenance guidance and contact routes. User or operator briefings cover the supplied systems and access points. Contractual handover and any local permission to occupy are separate processes, with their respective requirements and responsible parties clearly identified.
