Prototype and First-Type Validation
Full-scale factory mock-up assembly, physical acoustic testing, airtightness verification and client physical walkthrough before batch run.
Concrete Deliverables & Engineering Outputs
Every delivery includes fully coordinated CAD/BIM models, verified calculation sheets and quality acceptance records.
Physical 1:1 Factory Mock-Up Inspection Session
Acoustic & Air Permeability Lab Test Certificate
Series Production Sign-Off & Release Protocol
Inputs Required from Client & Site
Client delegation visit to factory, pre-defined acceptance checklist and sign-off authority.
Scope Boundaries & Clear Responsibilities
Recommended for housing developments and multi-unit series; validated mock-up module is integrated into the final site.
Detailed Methodology & Execution Scope
Choose the right sample scope
The review may focus on a connection, façade section, wet area, interior assembly or first complete unit. The appropriate extent depends on unresolved design questions and the proposed series. The plan identifies which features represent later production and which are specific to the sample under review.
Set criteria before the review
Dimensions, finishes, access, connection sequence and relevant performance evidence can be reviewed against agreed criteria. Specialist tests or independent inspections are separately defined where needed. A visual approval or client sample sign-off is not presented as equivalent to a certified system test or a local building approval.
Apply findings to production
Observations are logged with decisions and responsible parties. Accepted changes are incorporated into the relevant drawings, specifications and type records before the affected production release. For developments, this provides a controlled link between the first type and later batches. Physical samples, test fees and repeat testing are priced separately from coordination unless expressly included.
Standard 4-Step Delivery Process
All interfaces between engineering, factory line and on-site assembly follow a verified schedule.
Brief & Zoning
Site zoning, dwelling mix and preliminary budget limits defined.
BIM & Eurocode
Eurocode 3 structural frame and LOD 400 MEP coordination completed.
Module Assembly
Climate-controlled production and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
Crane Lift & Sign-Off
Swift crane installation, weather sealing and turnkey handover.
Frequently Asked Questions about this Service
Is a prototype necessary for every project?
For individual single homes, standard factory digital QA is sufficient; for 20+ unit housing developments, a mock-up eliminates series risk.
What happens to the prototype module after testing?
The prototype is not wasted; after minor adjustments, it is shrinkwrapped and shipped as one of the project's final units.
